Born and raised in the urban hum of Naarm/Melbourne, Olivier is a recent graduate of the Swinburne University of Technology Film and Television Bachelor’s Degree (Honours). He is deeply passionate in the world of location sound and has spent the last few years honing his skills in the sound department across Swinburne University of Technology and Victorian College of the Arts student films, as well as local independent film productions. During this time, he also gained valuable on the job experience via 3 month production internship with Big Shoulders Digital Video Productions in Chicago, Illinois, USA. His experience stems from both production and post-production sound, however his element lies out in the field, whether it be with a boom pole or a mixing bag. He has worked as both a Sound Recordist and Boom Operator on projects ranging from narrative features and short films, to short documentaries and corporate productions. He is keen to collaborate with likeminded creatives who are pushing the boundaries of sound in screen media, film and television.
